Pakistan is the real target of the US warn's,
Prof. Hafiz
Muhammad Saeed
The Ameer of the Markaz Ad
Dawa Wal Irshad, Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has said that America
wants to occupy Pakistan under the cover of an operation against
Osama and Pakistan should not allow such a move. Speaking at the
Aiwan-e-Waqt on Tuesday, he warned that by permitting America to
use our airspace and land, Pakistan would lose its sovereignty and
honour. The nation should unite at this juncture and stop the
rulers from taking such a suicidal decision.
Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said it
is absolutely incorrect to consider the US as a victim of
terrorism. He said that American had rained tons of gunpowder in
different parts of the world unjustifiably and it could not be
taken as innocent. He said it was high time for the US to review
its policies. America should give up its designs of becoming the
Supreme power of the world, abandon its policy of pressurizing and
exploiting small nations.
He believed that the real
issue before US was not that of Osama as it actually wanted to
crush Jihad in this region. The Zionists and the Hindus, he said,
were perturbed over the resurgence of Islam through Jihad and
considered it a great threat for themselves. America actually
wanted to check Jihad through its present moves. America, had
previously occupied the Gulf on the bogey of capturing Osama and
now it aimed at capturing Pakistan on the same ground, he warned.
. The Hindu-Zionist lobby
has convinced America that if it fails to check the nuclear
Pakistan, it would soon be leading the entire Muslim world. The US
is therefore out to occupy this country on the pretext of having
been a victim of terrorism. He impressed upon the Pakistani nation
to rise to the occasion, demonstrate total unity on this issue and
stop the rulers from taking a decision contrary to the national
sovereignty and solidarity which was gravely threatened at
present.
He said there was
no logic in the argument that the US was allowed the use of our
land and air space to safeguard our national solidarity. National
sovereignty could not be protected in this way, he said adding
that such a decision was against the national interest. And with
this, we would lose both our independence and honour while our
nuclear installations would also be insecure. The entry of
American forces would facilitate the Israeli and Indian attack on
our soil, he warned.
He said it was the dictate of our national
dignity that Islamabad clearly told Washington that it could not
offer its land and air space to the US at any cost. He said such a
bold stand is essential to prevent a civil war in the country. The
US must be kept at away from this region.
As for Osama, he said, Pakistan should keep
off from this issue. The sole responsibility of the Pakistan
government is to defend this country.
He stressed that the Muslim
world must unite and realize that the target of the enemy was not
any particular area or country, their real worry was the spirit of
Jehad among the Muslims. Islamism and the Islamic strength were
being painted as terrorism.
The Lashkar e Taiba chief took special note
of Iran's silence in the present turbulent situation and said that
the whole Muslim world must realize that America was pursuing a
policy of grabbing Muslims states one by one and instead off
falling prey to the US designs, the Ummah should be prepared to
face the challenge. He said one of the goals before the US in its
present game was to sabotage the Kashmir Jihad. He was however
confident that the US would not succeed in realizing this goal.
Even if America attempts to check the resurgence of Islam in this
region, it would be counter productive. If the US imposed a war,
the Muslims would be victorious. The US which is presently
mourning the devastation of the World Trade Centre, would have to
mourn much bigger losses, he remarked.
Asked about the possible use of chemical
weapons by America, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said it did not make much
difference to the Muslims who cherish martyrdom while for the
Americans; the worldly life is all that matters. He said the
America seems to have started the fresh Crusades which should be
an eye opener for the Muslim Ummah. The situation calls for
complete unity of the Ummah for safeguarding the Islamic ideology,
he said.

Attacks on US were a Jewish conspiracy to make target the Muslims,
Gen. Gul
ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 :
Former ISI chief (retd) Lt. Gen. Hameed Gul has said that strikes
on innocent Afghan people for Osama would be the worst terrorism
and Pakistan should not be a partner of US and its western allies.
"Musharraf's address shows that US wanted to target Taliban and US
intelligence agencies want to involve Pakistan in the attacks,"
Hamid Gul told Online on Wednesday.
He was of the view that the disastrous attacks on World Trade
Centre and Pentagon were a Jewish conspiracy to make target the
Muslims particularly in Palestine, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
"The military rulers should take the bright history and sacrifices
of Afghans before presenting any assistance to the US. If they
chose the path of assistance to US against the innocent and poor
Afghans it will be a historical damage to the country," he lashed.
He said that the rulers should made it clear to the US that
Pakistani brave nation can even not think about any aggression
against its brotherly Islami country Afghanistan.
"They (rulers) should counter the Islam and the Muslims and made
it clear that Muslims can never involve in terrorism," he added.
Earlier President General Pervez Musharraf assured Ulema and
Mashaikh that every decision of the government will be directed
towards the objective of unity, integrity and welfare of the
nation.
The President said he was undertaking the process of consultation
on the obtaining situation to seek the opinion of the various
brackets of the society, including leaders of various schools of
thought.
He said the situation demands "a unified response" and we have
proved to the world that Pakistan is for peace and against
international terrorism and we have reiterated this position to
the world community.

we are Muslim," the official quoted Omar as telling the council

JI vows to resist US attack on
Afghanistan
ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (Online): Jamaat-e-Islam chief Qazi Hussain
Ahmed has warned the military regime led by General Pervez
Musharraf that the use of Pakistani air or ground space for
invading Afghanistan is by no means acceptable to the people of
Pakistan and vowed to resist any such move.
Regretting the tragic incidents of September 11 during an
interview with tehelka.com, he said that any one who has even an
iota of compassion is shocked at these tragic developments.
Expressing ignorance about the perpetrators of latest incidents of
violence that shook the superpower, Qazi Hussain asked America to
do a bit of soul-searching, and find out why such mad incidents
take place in America. "It is not the first event of its kind. A
few years ago, an entire American village committed suicide,
consuming poison. Another person in Oklahoma rammed a truck and
killed many people".
Ruling out involvement of Muslims in these attacks, he said that
Muslims will not gain anything from such a development. Those who
will gain could be Israel, or other anti-Muslim forces. So, why
should Muslims commit such an act?
Qazi Hussain Ahmed when questioned on Jihad against US proclaimed
by Osama bin Laden remarked, "no one can wage jihad on innocents,
old men or those who are not engaged in a war. So those who have
committed this crime (in America) cannot be jehadis".
Responding to a query, Jamaat-e-Islami chief warned America of
dire repercussions in case of attacking Afghanistan saying that
any such move will further push America closer to a disaster.
"American society is a multi-religious and multi-cultural society.
If it indulges in violence against any particular community, it
will get sucked into chaos and violence. America, in this
situation, should act tactfully, and use reason in its own
interests".
Fatal
shooting draws FBI, Killing of Pakistani grocer may have been hate
crime, police say
09/17/2001 By
JENNIFER EMILY /
The Dallas Morning News
Dallas police and the FBI are investigating whether the shooting
death of a
Pakistani grocer in Pleasant Grove was out of anger at Muslims for
Tuesday's
terrorist attacks.
Police have been unable to determine a motive for the Saturday
night slaying
of 46-year-old Waqar Hasan at Mom's Grocery. There is no evidence
of robbery
or a struggle, said homicide Sgt. Larry Lewis. Nothing was out of
place.
There are no surveillance cameras in the store, he said.
Sgt. Lewis said police called the FBI because of the possibility
that the
slaying was a hate crime. "We have, just in case of recent events,
notified
the FBI," he said. "I have nothing to prove it was a hate crime,
but nothing
to disprove it."
