What is this site?
This site is intended to be a living memorial to those affected by the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. We are collecting stories and anecdotes from people who were there and people who were affected by this tragedy.

Why are you doing this?
Right now, there are large numbers of stories floating around this Internet on message boards and Web sites, and being passed along in email. We are concerned that these stories may be lost over time, and wanted to create a more permanent location on the Internet dedicated solely to those stories.

What will happen to all the stories?
This site will remain up indefinitely, as a virtual memorial.

Why wasn't my story posted?
We reserve the right to not post any story for any reason. That said, we are looking for original stories and images about personal experiences. Stories and images that originated as Internet pass-alongs and stories that are not about personal experiences are not usually run. Also, stories that exhibit racial, religious or ethnic intolerance will not be posted.

Who developed this site?
This site was developed by Inter.net, a US-based international consumer Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you have questions or comments for the site developers, please email webmaster@us.inter.net
