FOREIGN POLICY

The Foreign Policy

The foreign policy will also be amended, similar to the internal policy, so that it takes root from the redeemable Islamic principles. The Policy of the Hezb regarding our foreign policy includes the following basic points:

    1. Our party-cry (slogan) of persistent struggle for the realization of rights and justice, will always remain hoisted and we will put-up a stiff fight against aggression and oppressions. In our relations and transactions, we shall remain persistently truthful and will urge upon others to be likewise. We will always honour and respect our agreements and commitments.

    2. We are staunch supporters of universal peace and security and shall not desist in our efforts for their realization. But in our opinion, the mere non- existence of war does not fully convey the meaning of 'peace and security'. Our object of 'peace' is a state when the standards of rights and justice are maintained the world over and that in the mutual relations of the nations such an atmosphere is created in which there will be no room for difference or tensions. Furthermore, nobody should be in a position to transgress the legitimate rights of others or create obstacles in the path of others' comforts, progress and prosperity. (No doubt, the realization of this lofty ideal will be possible only when the Islamic order is actually accepted for the healthy regulation and guidance of the human life.).

    3. We strongly condemn colonialism, exploitation and despotism in whatever form or shape they may happen to appear. We consider the continuation of colonialistic systems as a clear violation from the necessity of justice and equity. We also consider the existence of colonial oppressions as the principal factor for the present-day tensions, differences and insecurity.

    4. Considering the uniform struggle against Western and Eastern colonization as the basic duty of the nations, we will mobilize all our forces and resources in an effort to putting an end to it.

    5. Those backward nations which, somehow or other, are still in the clutches of colonization, shall enjoy our conformation and sympathies in the light of the Islamic guidance and principles - in particular those Muslim nations whose independent Islamic identity is being threatened by oppressive, colonial and aggressive forces. In order to further strengthen their defensive powers against the enemy, they will be assured of our continuous and unsparing sympathy and cooperation.

    6. We support the establishment of mutual and amicable relations and the strengthening of friendly cooperation with all nations of the world. But, we will never be ready and will not tolerate that for the sake of establishing amicable relations with others, we should compromise on our faiths and principles, endanger our national and territorial integrity may be jeopardized. Besides, our Islamic magnanimity (pride) will not permit that our relations with any country be strengthened in such a way as a result of which their perverted beliefs or opinions may influence our people, or our open doors in the face of their people will pave the way for propagation of their ideologies in the country.

    7. We will earnestly abstain from entering any military pacts and we do not wish our country to get involved in the armament race of the colonialistic military powers.

    8. In international problems, ratification or contracts which are against Islamic will never be honoured or respected.

    9. Our indefatigable efforts for the consolidation of brotherly relations with the Islamic World will continue to be unabated. In order that the Muslim nations establish closer ties among themselves, on the basis of their common goals, we confirm the continuation of our devoted and sincere efforts towards this end. Under the present circumstances, we desire sincerely that the feelings of unity and brotherhood among the world Muslim community be revived so that to safeguard the existence and consolidation of the Muslim world.

And finally we deem necessary the following common recommendations for the Islamic nations:

    1. The revival of Islamic culture and civilization and preventing influence of non-Islamic civilizations.

    2. Joint investments for developing weapons' industries of the Islamic nations with the aim to make them eventually self-sufficient in this respect.

    3. Recognizing Arabic as the International language and joint efforts for it's widespread publicity and propagation.

    4. The establishment of an authoritative international court for resolving mutual differences between Islamic nations.

    5. Providing easier terms and conditions for travelling to each others' countries.

    6. Adopting necessary measures for the promotion of trade and financial transactions.

    7. Fundamental cooperation with Muslim minorities living, in oppressive conditions, in various countries of the world.
