What is Blindskills?

Blindskills, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation, based in Salem, Oregon,that publishes DIALOGUE, a magazine written specifically for persons who are blind or areexperiencing sight loss.

Each issue of DIALOGUE contains ideas and solutions intended to enhanceour readers' quality of life. Articles cover a wide range of subject matter, includingadjustment techniques, mobility, employment, independence, health, technology, cuisine,student issues, sports and recreation. Short pieces of fiction and poetry, submitted byour readers, are spotlighted in each issue. DIALOGUE contains a vast resource section ofproducts and services to aid the visually impaired in all aspects of life.

DIALOGUE is published quarterly, in four formats: braille, large print,4-track cassette tape and IBM Compatible diskette. Subscription/donation price is $28.00for legally blind readers and $40.00 for not legally blind readers. A free sample copy isavailable upon request.
