11/29/01 Taxpayer Activist to address Oregon
think tank WASHINGTON-On Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform will be in Portland, Oregon, to address the Cascade Policy Institute's Holiday Dinner. The subject of Mr. Norquist's speech will be: "Half the government, twice the freedom: How to achieve both in the next 25 years." The event is being sponsored by the Cascade Policy Institute. The Cascade Policy Institute is a nonprofit research and educational organization that focuses on Oregon state and local issues. The Institute's mission is to explore and advance public policy alternatives that foster individual liberty, personal responsibility, and economic opportunity.
