U.S. owes no apology to China
China’s insistence for an apology over the airplane collision that apparently killed a Chinese pilot and downed a U.S. spy plane is doing far more damage to diplomatic relations than the spy plane or the collision ever could.

Alliance efforts to protect aquifer
The Hill Country Alliance deserves the support of state and local officials as the water districts forge their efforts for a common good. The more officials know about the aquifer, the better job they can do to educate the public about water needs and conservation efforts.
