Jihad in Kashmir, Afghanistan to continue- Hafiz Saeed

LAHORE, Dec. 14

            Ameer, Markaz ad Dawa wal Irshad, Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, said on Friday that Jihad in Kashmir and Afghanistan will continue under all circumstances.

Speaking at an Iftar party, he said that Allah Almighty had always strengthened Jihad in difficult times. He said that Islam is incomplete without Jihad. The Seerat of the Noble Prophet (PBUH) gave no such instances wherein the Believers offered their prayers but shunned Jihad. According to the Quran, those who avoid Jihad are hypocrites.

Hafiz Saeed said that the Americans are cunning people and they can never be friends of the Muslims. He said that taking side with the US by selling out national honor was either foolhardiness or betrayal, it is nothing more. He said that India and Afghanistan have become closer after the ouster of the Taliban and they are signing pacts for mutual cooperation in different fields. The Pakistani rulers should now realize what they gained by their policy of supporting the US. Commenting on the plans to close the Madaris and teachings of the Quran, he said this was because the Quran inspired its Believers for Jihad against oppression and slavery and it was the prime force behind freedom movements because Islam taught its believers not to bow before anyone except Allah.

            Hafiz Muhammad Saeed slated the role of the United Nations and said this so called world body could not provide justice to the Muslims. He said Osama bin Laden was no issue for the US as they were out to crush every emerging Islamic force. When the government of Najmet Din Arbakan announced teachings of the Quran in Turkey, the US got perturbed. Similarly, In Algeria, when the Islamic minded people came to power through ballot, they were crushed under the tanks.
