Next to forecasting the weather, enjoying the great outdoors is Matt Zaffino's great passion in life. Over the last ten years, on his many expeditions throughout the Oregon and Washington, KGW's chief meteorologist captured a set of stunning photographs that depict the Northwest's spectacular and rugged beauty. The pictures are on display in a special calendar available for $12 at Powell's Books, GI Joes, REI, Columbia Sportswear's downtown store, and Oregon Mountain Community. Part of the proceeds benefit the Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation.
