I-84 Reopens in Eastern Oregon
December 15, 2001, 09:00 AM E-mail this story    Print this story

By AP Staff

Interstate 84 between Pendleton and Ontario in Eastern Oregon has reopened after a 15-hour closure due to heavy snow and ice.

The state Department of Transportation closed the highway late Thursday after white out conditions covered the road.

A winter storm predicted for the Blue Mountains could cause more problems. Motorists are asked to use traction tires and carry chains.
