Lashkar strongly denies involvement in attack on
Indian Parliament MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 14 : Strongly refuting the Indian foreign minister Jaswant Singh's allegation, Lashkar-e-Taiba Friday said the attack on Indian Parliament was a bid of Indian intelligence agencies to defame the Kashmir liberation movement and Jihadi organizations struggling for the liberation of Kashmir. "Jaswant Singh's statement of blaming Lashkar-e-Taiba for that attack (on Indian Parliament) was totally false and baseless," a spokesman of the Lashkar, Muhammad Yahya Mujahid said in his reaction. He said Lashkar-e-Taiba had nothing to do with attacks on the Indian Parliament and it's a pre-planed conspiracy against Kashmir liberation movement hatched by the Indian secret agencies to discredit and defame Kashmiris' movement for liberation from the Indian occupation. "India is trying to label Pakistan and Jihadi organizations as terrorist but the world community knows about the nefarious acts of Indian intelligence agencies," he added. He said that no Jihadi organisation including Lashkar-e-Taiba is involved in the attack on Indian Parliament, as Mujahideen-e-Kashmir did not believe in targeting civilians. "Indian rulers can slaughter some of their police personnel to defame liberation movement of Kashmir as they have killed more than 70,000 Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir," the spokesman maintained.
