Bowles’ Ads Fall Short of Full Disclosure
As we approach the primary election on September 10, voters have become increasingly bombarded with television ads. Two new campaign commercials tout Erskine Bowles’ work with Congressional Republicans to compromise the 1997 federal budget and promote eye exams for school children. The ads, however, fail to tell the whole story.
