The National Rifle Association (NRA) has given Jimmie Lou Fisher an "A" rating because of the support she has indicated for the rights of law-abiding gun owners. This is the highest grade that a non-incumbent candidate may receive. The NRA noted that Fisher's "strong commitment to preserving the Second Amendment for the citizens of Arkansas and our members is greatly appreciated."
