"We need a Senator that represents Alaskans--
                                                   not Outside multi-national corporations!"

While Ted Stevens tried to help BP's monopoly takeover of Arco, Jim Sykes worked with Alaskans across the political spectrum to stop it.  Fortunately for Alaska we beat Ted and his cronies, got Phillips and preserved competition on Alaska's North Slope.  Jim Sykes also worked to squelch two legislative raids on Alaska's Permanent Fund.  Again the key was working with a broad range of people--the kind of skill needed in Washington to help Alaskans and the people in our nation. 

Jim Sykes, one of the founders of the Green Party of Alaska, has also worked across the political spectrum to:
