ANALYSIS/OPINION

George W. Bush for president
Although today's vote for president is expected to be the closest in years, the fact of the matter is that George W. Bush's fitness to occupy the Oval Office dwarfs Vice President Al Gore's.

Gore on good and evil
In a final act of desperation, the vice president is reaching for the metaphysics. The message? Gore is Good.

Just a reminder
The Washington Times recaps its endorsements to provide a handy voter guide to those heading to the polls today.

Post-election spin preparation
Throughout the campaign, at every crucial juncture, Mr. Gore has been the more nimble candidate. But Mr. Bush was wiser.

Asking the wrong questions
The issue is not who should be trusted with all the power of the presidency. Instead, we must ask how much power any candidate can be trusted with.

Social Security deception
Al Gore is willing to lie for political gain.

Investor class confidence
Mr. Bush has established himself as the pro-wealth and pro-growth Investor Class favorite.

Just one question
The American people can no longer afford the policies that have diminished their safety and that of our nation.
