Scranton, Pennsylvania, November 2Reminding voters that "prosperity itself is on the ballot," Al Gore today focused on the big choices at stake on Election Day. Making the right choices to move the country forward, Gore would extend the nation's prosperity to all families by paying down the national debt, cutting taxes for the middle class and investing in education, health care, a clean environment and a secure retirement. George W. Bush would send the nation back to the failed policies of the past with a massive tax cut that busts the budget and targets almost half of its benefits to the few Americans making more than $300,000 a year.
