ORGANIZING

Local Organizing! That's where the real change happens!! That's where Greens can make a difference!! Local Organizing is the "heart" of Green work and we hope the information on this web page will help you to help you to GROW THE GREEN PARTY!!

The most effective and enjoyable way to do Green Organizing is to work with other Greens. If you aren't connected with other Greens and would like to be, let us know. Just contact the G/GPUSA clearinghouse (978-682-4353) and we will help you connect with other Greens in your area.

The G/GPUSA Organizing Working Group and the Clearinghouse staff is here to offer organizing assistance and resources. We have a wonderful "Local Organizing Handbook" for only $15 available from the Clearinghouse. It's full of good information and ideas about all kinds of things, including Meeting Facilitation Guidelines GP Clip Art, G/GPUSA Structure and Affiliation info, Sample Bylaws, Direct Action info, Master Copies of our Brochures, Web page set-up info on www.greens.org, Tabling Tips, Local Campaign Manual, and IRV & Pro-Rep brochures.

Let's take the momentum from campaign 2000 and run with it! Green locals are forming every day! Get more information on grassroots democracy, and join or start a green local today!
